What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a natural therapy which involves the
application of specific techniques using gentle pressure
to the reflexes located in the feet. The reflexes in the
feet are a reflection of the internal organs, glands and
structures of the body. Reflexology assists the body to
relax, balance and normalize itself, which allows the
body to
heal itself. Reflexology is a complementary therapy to
standard medical care and should not be a replacement
for medical help.
What To Expect
At the initial appointment, clients will be asked to
complete a short health history form. The health history
form will help me understand your current and past
health, which will help determine your individual needs.
Clients will need to only remove
footwear (shoes and socks). Before a reflexology
session, each client is given a 10 minute relaxing, warm
water lavender foot bath. During a reflexology session, clients
will recline in a special reflexology chair.
